A day in the life .... awkward moments

This week has been a series of awkward moments for me ... it actually started Saturday. None the less, nothing could top the lunch time awkwardness I experienced yesterday.

My friend(who shall remain nameless) and I went to lunch yesterday. All is well and we are catching up on exciting events that are happening in life when...

1 unread text message from Nameless friend sitting across the table
I think..."We aren't with anyone she couldn't say something in front of/about?!?"
As a matter of fact it is just the two of us

"So, Brooke just told me she's officially back with that guy. hm."
I look up
I look back down
I am confused
She sent me a text she meant to send her bf
AWESOME!

So I sit there in all my awkward glory and ponder

A. Do I text her back?
B. Do I ask her about it?
C. Do I just play stupid?

I chose option C. I sat through lunch and giggled to myself wondering if she realized she did it. Or maybe she would go through her messages later and realize. I am not sure. What I am sure of is that my life seems to be full of these moments. I have learned to roll with the punches and not take it seriously.

So those who you who know what I'm talking about ... you are not alone. These moments are the story of my life.
