Today is one of "those days". I promise this is not going where you think it is. It's been a good day, but one of those where you have to laugh at yourself. By 1:30 today I have managed to laugh at myself a good bit. I'm not sure if it was when I changed 30 times before work or got pulled over for "not wearing my seatbelt", only for the officer to notice it had been on the entire time. My favorite part is that I gave him my debit card instead of my license. I thought it was funny, him... not so much. I'm not sure if that tops when I pulled into a parking spot and ran my car in to a pole holding the handicapped sign. No worries, ole Bessy didn't budge.
One of the joys of life is being able to laugh at yourself. This life is so full of ups and downs, why not roll with the punches and giggle a little bit. The sun is out, the day is half over and I'm headed to the beach Friday. Do what you love, love what you do!
On a side note: is anyone out there watching American Idol this season?!? Just wondering, because I'm obsessed!

I love that you gave the police officer your debit card! Serves him right for pulling you over for no reason! Life is definitely better if you can learn to laugh at yourself, and better to learn it now than later!
(And yes, I'm watching Idol most nights -- though I kind of hate these constant auditions -- and I'm loving the new judges. And is it me, or has J-Lo not aged at all?!? Get me some of those genes, stat.)
Me...I'm watching AI and I LOVE it!!! I was so mad about it when all the old judges left, but I SO love the new judges!!! :)
