here goes nothing...

I spent tonight eating pizza, watching the bachelor, and for the finale....... Mama Mia with my friends Leigh and Ashley, who by the way are entertainment in and of themselves. Along with a night of much needed girl time, I was introduced to the proper way to blog(thanks Leigh). So here goes nothing, I guess this is one more thing to add to my list of "things to do instead of homework".
Anyway. To be honest, I have spent the past couple of days thinking about the beginning of the end. You know what I'm talking about. When the reality strikes that it's your last semester as an undergrad student. The last semester to bask in the comfort of Faulkner. After spending three years in a similar routine, knowing what the future holds, at least for a short moment in time, to think about not having that is somewhat unnerving. To go from classes, part time job, the grille/cafe, and not many bills...........to being a big girl. Thinking about applying for jobs, finding a place to live, and the list is never ending.
It's such a bittersweet experience. I think about the way God has blessed me during my time at Faulkner. The people he led me to. The people he lead me away from. The growth I've experienced. So, I'm going to spend these next few months taking it all in and knowing that my life will be forever changed because of my time here, and knowing that the future holds even more. I don't know how to feel. So here's to a great final semester at Faulkner with the people who are dearest to me. The good news is we always have memories.....and facebook = )

P.S.
HAPPY 2009. I LOVE YOU!!!!
