21 things

I ran across this today and got tickled. 21 things I wish I'd known when I was 21.

My take on a few of these:

2. "If he's not ever calling before 11 p.m., he's not interested in a real relationship"- Girls are stupid. It's a booty call. Wake up and face the music, he doesn't like you. No matter what he says.

3. "Comfort and Security aren't big enough reasons to stay with someone"- Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. So very true. Settling is way over-rated.

5. "Love is rarely packaged the way you expect it to be"- I hope you are right on this one.

10. "Box dye jobs look like box dye jobs (especially if you are going for red)"- In college I witnessed one too many cases of this. Your hair is an accessory. People see it EVERY DAY. Spend some money on it for cryin' out loud. Because when you have to get someone to fix your dye job you'll end up spending it anyway.

11. "If his friends hate you, your days together are probably numbered"- The saying "Bros before hoes" is really something guys go by. Don't be fooled. They are not joking when they say that.

12. "Relationships are not supposed to be hard in the beginning" - it's called a "honeymoon stage" for a reason. If it isn't good, it is only bound to get worse. You aren't supposed to have to make something work.

16. "This moment-however good or bad it is- is onlly a blip on the radar two years from now"- Things that seemed like a crisis or super duper awesome a couple of years ago are all a blur now. I didn't realize how quickly you can recover from moments.

21. "Buying it one size too small won't make you lose weight any faster" - Save your money. This also applies to bridesmaids dresses. Don't do it, bc when you look a hot mess with your tata's hangin all out ya dress you will wish you got that size 6.
